Living Rooms

As a retailer for the past 20 plus years I have seen many trends come and go. During the 70s and 80s the large pit type sectional was a very popular for living rooms as well as game rooms. This was a sectional usually comprised of many pieces with a multitude of pillows almost always ending up in a messy pile. Often recliners and other gimmicks were added in an attempt to make this behemoth more attractive to potential consumers. Well I am pleased to say that sectionals are on the rise and they have gone through a serious face lift to become a welcome addition to most interiors. According to Furniture Today the rise in sales is due to the growing popularity in the great room and media rooms many home are being designed with these days.
